Challenges to confront with...

“Inevitably, if we are to grow and change as adults, we must gradually learn to confront the challenges, paradoxes, problems and painful reality of an insecure world.”

What is so different with being an adult?

Menginjak usia diatas kepala 2, terutama setelah lulus dokter, hal yang paling #warbiyaza life changing buat saya (despite of being married ^^) adalah how to face, lebih tepatnya confront mungkin ya, problems. Kalau coba retrospect, dulu rasanya jaman sma&mahasiswa kaya yg banyaaak bgt problems, padahal g ada apa2nya ya sama sekarang :)))

P.r.o.b.l.e.m.SSSSSSS (with as much S as I can put)

Terutama terkait dengan pekerjaan sebagai dokter. We are being responsible literally for kelangsungan hidup seseorang (secara syari'at, hakikatnya mah teuteeuuup hidup mati sehat sakit mah hak Allah ya). Being pointed out or being accused of something either you do it or don't is like daily challenge. Belum lagi kalau cara dan etika penyampaiannya g enak.

Pengen lari atau sembunyi, tapi the real problem is actually not in solving it (solving is the next big thing of course), but first thing first is to FACE it, to CONFRONT it. Untuk gak ciut duluan dengan masalah. To be professional, still. Karena kadang, dan seringnya, teman-rekan kerja, tempat kerja, bisa jadi super tega dan 'jahat' sama kita. Tapi ya tadi, being an adult is how to confront challenges and problems.

Kadang juga kita udah ngerasa bersalah dan g enakan duluan, tapi ternyata pihak yang bersangkutan malah g ada masalah. Kalo udah perkara ini, intinya emang cuma komunikasi. Try to face, confront, and communicate your problems, or what you think is a problem.

It takes a big step of bravery, ya know.
And while we deal with it, maturity process is taking it course along the way.

Ahhhhh semangaaaattt!
After these long days of challenges, confrontation, and lotsa problem, not to mention patient to dealjust so we know that we can always come home. :)

And suddenly I miss my husband....
